SB 433 (Allen) will authorize the California Coastal Commission to levy fines on Coastal Act violators beyond only access violations. It will better enable the California Coastal Commission to protect the state’s coastal resources and recreational opportunities and reduce costs to the state. Signed by Governor Newsom, 2021
