We are currently recruiting members who are interested in helping with our air pollution and building electrification community engagement and advocacy project. Read more here.

We would be happy to hop on a call to discuss your interests and opportunities to participate. Please email us at info@sfbaypsr.org.
JOIN A COMMITTEE! Volunteer!
Joining an advocacy group can reduce anxiety about our increasingly chaotic world, allowing us to channel this energy into making impactful change. You are welcome to attend our meetings to just listen and learn, or to directly participate in advocacy projects.
Nuclear Weapons Abolition Committee (NWA)
Meetings are usually on the second Thursday, 7pm PT, online, every other month (Feb, April, June, August, Oct, Dec).
To join our NWA committee, email Executive Director Marj Plumb at director@sfbaypsr.org
Join the discussion or just listen! Our NWA committee members are health professionals, advocates, scientists, researchers, and others working locally to influence public awareness, civic engagement, and national policy toward a nuclear-weapons-free world.
Environmental Health Committee (EHC)
Meetings are usually on the second Wednesday, 7pm PT, online, every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov).
To join our EHC committee, email Executive Director Marj Plumb at director@sfbaypsr.org
EH committee members are dedicated and passionate health professionals and researchers of all disciplines, as well as community members, and health advocates, working on behalf of planetary health and survival, and toward a world where everyone is free of the existential threats of the climate crisis and environmental degradation.
Below: SF Bay PSR members taking action to advance policies and actions that protect human and planetary health from the threats of nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, the entire nuclear cycle, militarism, environmental degradation, climate change, and social injustice—while safeguarding and strengthening the democratic rights crucial to achieve these protections.
